Brooke Perkins is a Melbourne artist who is undertaking a journey of discovery by way of small-scale works and subject matter. Through the mediums of printmaking and painting she has been designing artist books and paintings on our purposeful bee species.
In her art, Brooke strives to highlight the intimate beauty in nature and invite viewers to revisit what’s around us. With the incorporation of detailed imagery, her work forces patience whilst nurturing self-belief. Her work is personally significant however she hopes to inspire introspection and purpose in the viewer while highlighting the importance of nature.
