Nyx Butcher

Nyx Butcher is a neurodivergent, queer artist based in Australia who specialises in Mixed media, Painting, Photography Textiles and Game design. They are a student Currently Studying Visual Arts at RMIT. They commonly work with themes such as surrealism, fantasy, mental health issues, gender identity and Juxtapositions. Butchers works craft a visual journal of a mix between their own life experiences and experiences they have observed from others either within their life or the differing fictional worlds that they love. Additionally, their works commonly fluctuate between using bold bright colours and monochromatic colour pallets. They furthermore love to pair bold colours with deep shadows throughout most of their works.
